As an EOF student, you have access to a wide range of valuable services and resources designed to support your success at Rutgers University–Newark. Your EOF Counselor is your primary point of contact and will help you navigate both the EOF program and the broader RU-N community.

EOF Requirements
EOF students must adhere to their EOF requirements in order to remain in the EOF program:
- 2 required meetings with your assigned EOF Counselor
- 2 EOF Events* each semester
- Additional admissions, academic support, or other requirements may be added to support your success
*Students with 90 credits or above only have to complete one EOF Event in their last year of enrollment.
EOF Services
- Counseling sessions tailored to support your needs and academic year benchmarks
- Funded opportunities such as conferences, winter/summer course funding, global initiatives etc.
- Workshops by acclaimed speakers in topics such as financial literacy, professional development, graduate studies, networking and more
- Community building opportunities with EOF students across campus and the state
- Leadership & community building opportunities through EOF student organizations: Women’s Empowerment Network, Brothers United, & Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society
- Tutoring for Math & English and Supplemental Instruction Support for Math
- Graduate school preparation in partnership with McNair & GSLSAMP
- Peer Mentorship opportunities
- Service Learning Internship Credit Course
